Mooli Paratha / radish flatbread is easy and quick with radish paste. It is tasty and healthy break fast or lunch menu with whole wheat. I usually make my parathas with filling but its little time consuming when compared with regular roti. So I tried this method of making paste of radish and adding to dough. The parathas are soft and does not have any smell or hint of mooli/ radish.
In a bowl Take whole wheat flour, salt, radish puree, oil mix everything and knead it well till you achieve a soft pliable dough. (I did not add any water to make the dough). If you need water add some.
Cover the dough and rest it for 10 min.
Divide the dough into small equal portions. Make round balls. Take a ball dust some flour and spread them with the roller into thin flatbread/roti.
Heat a heavy skillet or griddle over a medium Heat and cook the flatbread for a 1 minute until you start to see some bubbles. Flip it and cook for another 30 seconds or so, keeping a gentle pressure using a flat spatula on each side until it puffs.
Remove the flatbread/roti when golden dots appear and apply some clarified butter(ghee) or butter.

I love adding vegetable puree to my rotis mainly because its easier to make kids eat veggies that way. Other than this mooli paratha , I also make beet root, cauliflower, cilantro, spinach parathas this way. I steam sweet potato and [pumkin][1] and make paratha the same way.
