Avocado banana smoothies are a great way to start your bustling mornings. Avocado banana smoothie is rich, creamy and sweet. This smoothie has only 4 ingredients. Avocado, banana, milk and vanilla essence. I love this smoothie with vanilla flavor. Its full of fiber and healthy fat. This smoothie is waist-line friendly, but definitely filling. Moreover, there is no sweetener or sugar added. I add more bananas or dates to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Avocados are heart-healthy, nutrient-dense super food. Also, it is naturally sodium, sugar and cholesterol-free.

Bananas are glorious golden fruit high in potassium. As well as, bananas contain magnesium, vitamins C and B6.

It tastes similar to milk shake with frozen banana and vanilla essence and also avocado adds to the creamy texture.

Almond milk, coconut milk or yogurt can be used instead of milk.

Almond powder and water or cashew nut powder can be used instead of milk.

Ingredients

  • 12 avocado ripen
  • 1 banana ripen/frozen
  • 2 cups milk
  • 12 tsp vanilla extract optional

Instructions

  • Add pitted and sliced avocado, sliced banana, milk and vanilla extract to a blender. Add ice cubes if needed.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more bananas.

Recipe Notes

  • Protein powder can be added to the smoothie.
  • Peanut butter can be added for taste.
  • Oat barn for a fiber-filled breakfast.
  • Frozen or fresh strawberries, blue berries or raspberries can be used.
  • A cup of spinach will give a healthier and greener smoothie.
